Before you build it, let’s make sure the business actually works.
You have an idea. Before you spend significant time and money bringing it to life, let’s pressure-test it. Who will pay for it? What will it cost to launch and operate? What assumptions are hiding inside the plan? What are you forgetting? We’ll challenge the numbers, identify the gaps, and determine what needs to happen next before you figure it out the expensive way.

The hardest decisions usually aren’t difficult because you lack information. They’re difficult because there are competing truths. The safe answer and the exciting answer. The financially responsible answer and the answer you can’t stop thinking about. What worked for you five years ago and what fits the person you are now. Sometimes the question is whether to begin. Sometimes it’s whether to stay. And sometimes it’s whether you’re ready to stop. This is where Data. Faith. & Guts. becomes practical.

What is actually true? What do the facts, numbers, constraints, options, and evidence tell us?
FAITH
What matters that can’t be proven on a spreadsheet? What do you value, believe, want, trust, or know about yourself?
GUTS
Given both, what are you willing to choose and what action comes next?
BEFORE YOU BUILD
Starting a business creates momentum quickly. There’s a name to choose, an LLC to form, a website to build, software to buy, branding to create, professionals to hire, and a hundred other things that can make you feel like you’re making progress. But none of those things answer the most important question: Does the business make sense? Before building the machinery around the idea, we’ll pressure-test the business underneath it.
Who will pay for this, and why?
What exactly are you selling?
What will it cost to open the doors?
What will it cost to keep them open?
How much revenue will the business need?
What does your personal runway look like?
What are you assuming that needs to be tested?
What are you forgetting?
What needs to happen now, and what can wait?
Where do you need a specialist rather than another guess?
Credible is required. Perfect is not.
The goal isn’t to create a 70-page business plan or pretend we can predict exactly what will happen. It’s to understand the economics, expose the assumptions, identify the meaningful risks, and determine the smartest next steps before momentum starts costing you money.

More than two decades of executive and organizational leadership. The experience of building, funding, operating, restructuring, and ultimately selling my own company. An operator’s attention to numbers, economics, people, systems, and execution. The willingness to challenge an assumption even when it’s the one you really want to be true. WHAT I DON’T DO
I’m not your attorney, CPA, financial advisor, or therapist, and I won’t pretend to have expertise I don’t have. I won’t make the decision for you. I won’t tell you an idea is great simply because you’re excited about it. And I won’t pretend certainty exists where it doesn’t. When a question belongs with a specialist, part of my job is helping you recognize that and identify what you need to ask.
